JArt
Studio-Gallery,
as the name
implies, is a
charming combination of an art studio and
gallery; located near Zürich,
Switzerland, it is
an exciting place for making, learning, viewing
and enjoying art.
At the
moment, the studio is mainly focused on offering
art classes to adults, youths and children. We
cater for beginners as well as intermediate
and
at time more advanced students. Students' ages
has ranged from 4 to 72 years old - we do
not like to put limits on age, everyone is
welcome, most children are natural artists, and
older people have plenty of opportunities to
discover and unleash the artist in themselves.
We
provide a multicultural environment and are
grateful to be able to work with people of a
variety of backgrounds and cultures - so far, we
have catered for 29 different
nationalities!
We
provide an intimate and cosy environment, small
groups instruction, as well as one to one
attention. Students can follow a course of 10
classes, 20 classes, individual lessons or
register for particular workshop.
A
beginners' course will provide you with a
foundation on drawing and shading, perceptual
techniques, some theoretical and historical
background information, composition, and an
introduction to perspective and colour theory,
as well as different painting techniques such as
acrylic, watercolour and oil.
If
instead you are a more advanced student, and
want to work on your individual projects, we are
happy to provide you with the support you need.
